LoTTIE Kit for Math
www.onionmountaintech.com/kit.php?id=15
The LoTTIE Kit for Math is full of a variety of low tech tools and more
mid tech, hand held electronic tools than any other LoTTIE kit, as well
as two software based tools - the Math Grids disk and Math Maker
Templates, a series of self-running templates that help students to do
math problems on the computer.
- Math Shark
Let students 'chomp' their way through learning math facts. Eight
different levels in each of 7 different math functions including
addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percents,
and decimals. Press another button and the Math Shark becomes a full
featured calculator. - Texas Instruments TI-15 Explorer Calculator
A
calculator for fractions with a full screen display that actually shows
fractions and mixed numbers as students would write them. The
calculator allows students to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
fractions; simplify fractions; display division results as remainders,
fractions, or decimals; learn place values; and do all other typical
calculator functions. - Talking Calculator
Don't miss this calculator that reads back every keystroke and answer.
Great for students with visual impairment but equally as valuable for
students who need to see and hear answers in order to get them
accurately to their papers. Has a special button so that answers can
read back as individual digits or in correct nomenclature.
- Numbers & Math Symbols Rubber Stamps
Set of rubber stamps includes numbers 0-9, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and equals signs.
- Fractiongrams Stamp
Set
of 2 stamps helps students understand fractions by demonstrating parts,
and their relations to the whole. One stamp is one complete whole, the
other a division of that whole into rectangles, each a part of the
whole and other rectangles above or below demonstrating 1, 1/2's,
1/3's, 1/4's, 1/5's, 1/6's, 1/8's, 1/9's, and 1/10's. - Number Line Rubber Stamps
Set of 4 numberline stamps; 1-10, 1-20 (2 parts), and 1-10 with problem blanks.
- X-Y Axis Stamp
Rubber stamp creates a perfect negative and positive x-y axis. Approximate size 2.5' x 2.5'.
- Clock/Time Stamp
One basic clock stamp with 12 hour and 60 minute divisions allows you
to stamp the clock and then draw in the hands to the appropriate time.
The second stamp takes the same type of analog clock and pairs it with
a standard digital format.
- Coin Abacus
Add
and subtract coins and dollar bills with voice output. Great for young
students, students just learning about the value of coins, and students
with visual impairments.
- Various Pencils and Grips
Includes
4 different pencils; all with modified triangular shape - Hand Hugger,
Jumbo, Intermediate, and Regular w/eraser - and 7 different grips to
help students hold their pens and pencils properly and more comfortably
for greater legibility, speed, and reduced hand fatigue. Note: the
pencils are not sold separately.
- 12" Finger Grip Ruler (pink)
The finger grip ruler allows the student to grip and hold the ruler because of a raised plastic middle. Assorted colors.
- The Master Ruler
The
perfect tool for teaching length measurement and their divisions. The
ruler has multiple transparent overlays that can go over a white 1'
increment ruler showing 1/2', 1/4', 1/8', 1/16', and 1/32' increments.
Because these different layers are transparent the student can always
see the other layers and understand the relationships between the
different units of measure.
- Addition/Multiplication Tables
Set
of 2 tables laminated together back to back. On one side a
multiplication table 0-9, on the other an addition table 0-9. For use
as a study and homework guide, or for practice drills.
- Magnetic Wipe Off Board with Number/Symbol Magnet

with one Stickin' Place Magnetic Sheet and printed magnet sheet with
numbers, symbols, and lines in different colors so that student can
solve math problems without handwriting.

Heavy
duty plastic guide, just the right size for signing credit cards and
checks. Also makes a perfect reading guide that won't rip or tear.
- Highlighter Tape (various colors)
3-Line
Highlighter Tape. Highlight any text, then remove the tape without
damage. Use for teaching about highlighting or for color coding.
- Math Line
The
perfect math manipulative number line for students, even those with
physical disabilities. This sturdy wooden number line (with numbers
from 1-31) suctions to a desk or other smooth surface, and students
move plastic rings to either the right or left. Useful for counting,
teaching about size and quantity, calendar skills and beginning lessons
on adding and subtracting.

and 1 inch black, blue, yellow and pink). For student use in math and
writing. Mac/Windows CD.
- Math Maker Templates
Math
Maker Templates are a set of self-running templates that allow students
to do addition, subtraction, and multiplication problems on the
computer. Additional templates also help students reduce fractions and
change fractions to percents and decimals. Mac/Windows CD. - Place Value Wipe-Off Board
Personal size markerboard has vertical columns corresponding to place
value in both decimals and fractions. Set has Place-Value markerboard,
purple dry erase marker, and eraser.

Philippe Amiel Big Display Calculator
The Quarter Mile Math Program - PC
www.thequartermile.com
This math software program is used for a wide range of abilities. Problems
appear one at a time on the screen. The goal is to answer them as fast as you
can. Each time you enter the answer correctly, your dragster or horse will go
faster. You race against your five previous best races that are replayed on
screen-six lanes with six dragsters or six riderless horses in all. The sooner
you reach the finish line, the better your score will be.
Virtual Pencil PC
Virtual Pencil is computer software that is used to interactively solve
math problems. It is designed for those who are pencil impaired: unable
to operate a pencil effectively. This is not a tutorial, although
tutorial mode is part of the package. Think of it as a virtual pencil,
a tool that can be used to solve a math problem. It moves to the right
spot on the "paper", guided by the user, and inputs the answers that
the user selects. When used with a screen reader the numbers and
actions are read outloud, or displayed in Braille
